This chakra is located at the base of the coccyx and perineum. It allows the anchorage to our Mother Earth and gives us the courage to continue our spiritual search. It is this chakra that makes it possible to draw the telluric energy from Gaia, our planet, capturing energy from the Earth's magnetic field. This is the first chakra of identity, as it allows us to take shape in our physical vehicle. This helps us to stay in contact with reality and concrete things.
It is from birth until the age of 7 that it will be structured with tendencies to function with strength or with weakness throughout the rest of life. With strength, the individual will rely only on himself to move forward in life, while with weakness, one will rely on others to move forward in his life.
The Root chakra stimulates survival impulses, even if it means increasing aggressiveness, which will enable access to individual resilience. It enhances the individual with specific qualities, such as courage, determination, resistance, perseverance, tenacity, combativeness.
This chakra invigorates the blood and increases circulation in the lower limbs. It gives us the perception of the strengths and weaknesses of our ancestors to draw wisdom from it. This chakra will therefore also enable the ability to give birth (whether a man or a woman), the will, and the fear of the responsibilities related to the role of parenting a child.
It channels and directs cosmic energies to the physical plane and thus allows us to understand the real interest of cosmic energy. For example, religious, educational or sectarian conditioning will not be allowed if this chakra is in good working order.
This chakra is related to the Earth element and the forces of Incarnation. The Root chakra is connected to the adrenal glands and the kidneys. Just as to the spine, the bones, the teeth, the nails... It manages: reproductive sexuality, the transition from fetal life (yin) to the movement of birth (yang), allows acceptance or rejection of incarnation.
It gets stronger thanks to the red color, but also the darker shades of burgundy, vermilion, brown, and even black.
